Why was my monetization turned off?

If your channel’s monetization has been turned off it is one of a few things. It could be that our system detected your channel to have potentially copyright infringing content and your channel is under review. It could also be because you’ve received a copyright strike on one or more videos. Per our terms of service if you receive a copyright strike, we are liable to turn off your monetization.

To see your copyright strikes you can visit the Copyright Notices section of Your Video Manager.

AwesomenessTV does not support channels who upload copyright-infringing content because it violates our terms and conditions, and YouTube’s terms of service.  For more information on understanding how content is classified as unoriginal and infringing on someone else’s rights you can visit https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/2797466?hl=en

If you feel that your monetization has been turned off in error, you can appeal it by filling out this form.  Please note it may take up to 7 business days for us to review your appeal and respond.
